Minimally Invasive Treatments

Minimally Invasive Treatments such as botox injections, mesotherapy, phenol peels and laser, eliminate wrinkles and acne scars and restore the youthful appearance of the face without surgery.

Expression lines, scars, photoaging marks and sagging require a radical solution. Non-surgical and minimally or non-invasive treatments make use of thoroughly designed substances and technologies and provide results at the clinic.

Minimally Invasive TreatmentsMinimally Invasive Treatments – the Skinbooster Mesotherapy

Injection mesotherapy is a medical technique first developed in France in 1958 by Dr. Pistor to treat musculoskeletal pain.

It uses tiny needles to inject a cocktail of active substances in the dermis.

Depending on the skin’s needs, we select the appropriate cocktail of active substances and non cross-linked hyaluronic acid to be used.

The advanced mesotherapy treatments are those referred to as skinboosters. These involve a combination of special hyaluronic acid and biomimetic peptides.

Biomimetic peptides are proteins, components of the skin, which gradually diminish and become inactive with the passing of time.

Depending on what the skin needs, we may opt for firmness, antiaging, whitening, lipolysis in cheek and double chin, and treatment for black circles and eye bags.

Biomimetic peptides are absolutely safe as they mimic natural processes. The effects are visible on the first session.

Minimally Invasive TreatmentsMinimally Invasive Treatments – Botox – Dysport – Bocouture

Injection treatment with botulinum toxin (traded under the brand names Botox, Dysport and Bocouture) is the no. 1 treatment for wrinkles, mainly on the upper half of the face.

These wrinkles are created from our facial expressions and have nothing to do with age. As prevention is the best doctor, the sooner we begin the injection treatment the better, in order to prevent the lines from becoming deeper.

Botulinum toxin A has been used for medical purposes for more than 20 years, initially for treating neurological disorders in adults and children. “Botox” is a safe injection treatment.

The natural appearance, which is the desired result, depends on the skill of the experienced dermatologist. However, the duration of the result depends on the dosage of the medicine and on the natural dynamics of the expressions of each individual.

The effect lasts from 4 to 6 months. The treatment may even be administered in the neck’s contour for a neck lift (nefertiti botox).

Another application of this medicine is for hyperhidrosis, notably the excessive sweating of armpits, palms and soles. In these cases, the effects of “botox” injections may last from 6 to 9 months, and up to one year in the armpits.

Minimally Invasive Treatments – Fractional radiofrequency

The revolutionary technology of Venus Viva with the nano fractional radiofrequency and smart scan provides wrinkle and scar restoration safely, all year round.

Collagen production is triggered by effecting a micro-ablation (i.e. micro-injury) on the skin and by diffusing heat vertically and deep in the skin.

This gradually smoothens wrinkles on the face, eyes and decollete, improving the appearance of stretch marks, acne scars and skin pores.

A mild stinging sensation is felt during the treatment, followed by redness for a few hours up to one day. An average of 4 sessions is required, depending on the condition.

The technology of fractional radiofrequencies with needling is applied in cases of intense photoaging and sagging, and deep scars on the face.

Fractional laser CO2

The revolutionary technology Smartpulse and Smartstack of DEKA’s Smartxide DOT ensures the fastest recovery and the most targeted action for such a powerful laser as the fractional laser CO2.

This treatment can be effected only in the winter and provides fast results as of the first session in deep facial scars and wrinkles, eyelid sagging and wrinkles, body stretch marks.

The technology of this most powerful medical laser makes it possible to effect a controlled micro-ablation of skin layers in columns.

It rids of photoaging marks and scars with precision and safety. The laser’s thermal energy then induces collagen production through fibroblasts.

Wrinkles and scars are thus eliminated, and pores are shrunk.

There is oedema and redness for a few days after the session, sunbathing and intense work-out should be avoided and, if there is a history of herpes labialis, covering is required. The effects are visible on the first session.

The Golden Lift treatment combines the fractional laser treatment with the autologous mesotherapy from our own blood (Platelet Rich Plasma).

The same surgical laser is used to remove papillomas, condylomas, moles and eyelid xanthelasma with precision and safety.

Minimally Invasive TreatmentsDeep phenol peel

Deep phenol peel is the most powerful antiaging treatment with results equal to blepharoplasty, is a worthy opponent of face lift and can be achieved in just one session. The phenol peel was created by the peel “king” Dr. Deprez, and comes in a patented formula by Skin Tech and three formulas for face, upper lip and eyelids (Easy Phen Very Light, and Lip & Eyelid). It is used to treat intense photoaging involving facial and eye wrinkles once and for all.

Deep wrinkles around the mouth are eliminated in a natural way, same as wrinkles and sagging in the eyelids. This method requires a special preparation with creams before the treatment as well as afterwards, for fast recovery.

Abstaining from work for one week will be necessary, after which make-up can be used. Phenol peel used under this formula is ideal for anyone who wishes to go back 10 years in time without surgery, in exchange for one week of their time.

A specialised dermatologist will determine whether a deep phenol peel treatment is suitable for us and will advise us accordingly.

Minimally Invasive Treatments

Autologous mesotherapy (PRP)

This treatment, which uses our own blood serum (Platelet Rich Plasma), is a natural injection mesotherapy where nothing external is inserted in our skin, such as hyaluronic acid and vitamins, but our own regeneration capacity is used instead.

The autologous mesotherapy (PRP) is similar to a mere blood sampling. A special centrifuge and processing produces condensed blood plasma rich in platelets. This solution is then administered with small injections in the skin following topical anaesthesia, almost painlessly.

Platelets gradually release growth factors, notably proteins that stimulate fibroblasts to produce collagen and hyaluronic acid.

The autologous mesotherapy, or PRP, is ideal for tightening, wrinkles, stretch marks, scars, black circles, hair loss and shedding.

An average of 2 sessions is required, depending on the case. Recovery time is usually zero and with no bruising. There may be mild redness for 1 day.
